     A brilliant place to camp here at Mink Pond is Roaring Brook Campground, and nearby you hit upon the Chimney Pond Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not have a look at Rum Pond right next door to Mink Pond; why not camp at Chimney Pond Campground since you're here at Mink Pond. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Mink Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and the night is rather  
   chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mink Pond temperatures fall to the-10's. There are some great whitewater spots on Nesowadnehunk Stream River, and if you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a tremendous choice.
There are other locations here than Mink Pond, for example Helon Taylor Pond, and going for a hike on the Cathedral
 
               Trail is always a great adventure. Don't forget to take a brilliant little visit to Beaver Brook; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Stream. An average amount of rain falls at Mink Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some good people from Bangor here. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mink Pond. The Dudley Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Mink Pond; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites.
