     Camping at Little Black Check Point is always a splendid experience; soar down the rapids of Musquacook Stream in a kayak. Through the days of summer at Mink Pond highs are regularly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Mink Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Mink Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeview Campgrounds  
   is a fine local campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Fox Brook Trail. Not far from Mink Pond, you'll stumble on McKeen Lake which is a picturesque lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Rocky Mountain Trail.
Mink Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Any time is a great time at Mink Pond if you adore the outdoors. A tour
 
               to Dead Horse Gulch is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Big Brook Lake is a lake that's near Mink Pond, and get soaked paddling on Big Brook River.
