Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn WATERVILLE; soar down the rapids of Sebasticook River in a kayak. There's some flowing water nearby, Fowler Brook is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and at Mill Stream Dam next to Mill Stream there are some exciting things to see. day, Unity Marina Campground is a great spot to camp nearby; one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Mill Stream is Shore Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course
like Cedar Springs Golf Course. Mill Stream gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are
magnificent; Dutton Pond is a lake that's close to Mill Stream, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sheepscot River.

Eaton Mountain
 | 21 miles away 3 PHOTOS Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends. The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park. The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan.... |
