    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mill Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Mill Pond a quite wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is August. All through the months of summer highs here at Mill Pond reach the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Mill Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Go for a  
   hike on the Mud Hole Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chase Mills Stream.
Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do right next door to Mill Pond. On a lovely day you can explore Jasper Beach close to Mill Pond, and time spent at Grays Beach is always splendid. Why not visit nearby Meadow Brook since you're here at Mill Pond, and Bare Cove is in the neighborhood and always great to check out. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sunkhaze Campground; Northern Inlet has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
At Mill Pond you can spot Howard Mountain, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are glorious sites to visit and Roosevelt Campobello International Park is no exception.
