In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Mill Pond is one of them. Everybody nearby loves skiing at New Hermon Mountain, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Battie Trail. At Mill Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Goose River is so much fun, and if you need a location to stay Colonial Gables Oceanfront Village is a brilliant choice. Why not have a look at Mill
Brook Dam while you're here, and Comfort Inn Belfast is a delightful location to get some rest. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Mill Pond has it all. Spragues Beach is near Mill Pond if you're in a beach
type of mood; hiking along the Spring Brook Trail is glorious fun.
The high level of rainfall makes Mill Pond a relatively wet location; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with
the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Searsport Pines Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time, and Mill Pond is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort is a pleasant place to camp nearby.
