This lake is so wonderful. Mill Pond Dam is a picturesque site in close proximity to Mill Pond, and there's some flowing water close by, Pease Brook is a stream you can go to during your stay. Be careful coming to Mill Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is       a pleasant spot to get some rest; not far from Mill Pond you'll stumble on Lily Pond which is a stunning lake. On a great day at Mill Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Battie Trail, and there are other places here than Mill Pond, for example Appleton Ridge Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Camden; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Whitewater                  paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. George River; the top of Jones Hill is easily seen from Mill Pond. The annual precipitation here at Mill Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mill Pond. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Oyster River; Mill Pond is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Alford Lake Camp is a pleasant location to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Blue Harbor House Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and the cheerful people of Rockland like to hang out close by. Summertime highs at Mill Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
