     Soar down the rapids of Cobbosseecontee Stream in a kayak, and one of the principal traits of the surroundings of Mill Pond is Springer Hill. Mill Pond gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and September on the other hand is the driest. This spot rocks, just explore all the cool things to do in close proximity to Mill Pond. Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn is a glorious location to get some rest, and a quick trip to Ashford Brook  
   is without doubt a nice idea. Through the summertime at Mill Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Mill Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
Mill Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a great local campground, and if you've had enough of Mill Pond, Mud Pond
 
               is close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Augusta-Waterville here; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Loon Pond is one of those nearby. Mill Pond Dam is not far at all from Mill Pond; Meadows Golf Course is a golf course close by.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Birches Campground is a pleasant site for that. A splendid nearby hotel is Winthrop Motel; hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is glorious fun.

Fun short spot, We made it a overnight trip and had a good old time. There needs to be a bunch of water in this stream to even make it doable. on 4/20 we were scooting-ass over many shallow spots in our yaks. Fun drops with laziness inbetween make for a good time especially for the novice....

This was the best place on earth. My husband and I went back every year for a week on tranquility on the ocean. Crushed, I mean extremely disappointed to find out it had gone out of business. We drove by as well to make sure it was closed. We couldn't quite believe it....This was great campground, but alas, it has been closed for a few years now. I think we camped there the last year they were open. We were very disappointed to find them out of business and even drove by once to really make sure they were closed....
