If you are in Hancock county it's always a good idea to stop by Mill Pond. Get wet paddling on Narramissic River, and going for a hike along the Blue Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Redman Beach is in the neighborhood of Mill Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Trail Point Trail. a swamp close to Mill Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Mill Pond. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mill Pond. Bucks Harbor is in close proximity and
always pleasant to explore, and if you need a site to stay Pentagoet Inn is a good choice. While staying at Mill Pond you could always discover Harbor Ledge, and whitewater paddling is great on Goose Falls. There's so much to
do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a wonderful place for that; on a tremendous day it's a pleasant idea to spend the day at Bakeman Beach. A glorious nearby hotel is Eggemoggin Inn, and John B Mountain is clearly visible from Mill Pond.
