     A fine spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Mill Pond is Goose Falls; why not take a look at a swamp like Bells Marsh if you're here at Mill Pond. At Mill Pond throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Mill Pond. Bucks Harbor is pretty close to Mill Pond, and if you're here, you could also visit picturesque  
   Fresh Pond. There's tremendous hiking along the Blue Hill Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narramissic River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a great choice; Snake Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. But wait, there's more to do close to Mill Pond. Whispering Pines Campground is a delightful campground nearby; Redman Beach
 
               is a beach nearby that you can go to. Robin Hood Camp is a good local campground; Mill Pond is right by the Trail Point Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Harbor Ledge is in the neighborhood of Mill Pond and is a nice location, and why not go to close by Benson Brook while you're here at Mill Pond. Just can't get enough of Mill Pond. Nothing beats kicking back at Bakeman Beach, and Baits Motel is a glorious location to get some rest. The peak of John B Mountain can be made out from Mill Pond, and the Sawyer Notch Trail offers hiking at its best.
Mill Pond commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....
