If you need a spot       to stay Sea Breeze Motel is a good choice, and do pay a visit to Acadia National Park since you're here at Mill Pond. What a spot this is for outdoors people. There's good hiking along the Strath Eden Trail, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Long Pond is just a very short distance away. The Harborside Hotel and Marina is a great site to get some rest, and a day at striking Schoodic Beach near Mill Pond is a good thing to do. Mountainview                  Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Bar Island Trail. On a beautiful day you can take a look at Black Beach in the vicinity of Mill Pond, and here at Mill Pond you can spot Baker Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Brown Meadow is a swamp near Mill Pond, and don't leave Mill Pond without first going for a hike along the Kebo Mountain Trail. Mill Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. During the warm months at Mill Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mill Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
