Mill Pond frequently gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake
is so wonderful. Long Pond Dam is worth going to while you're here, and Baker Hill is a peak you can make out from Mill Pond. For the duration of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 70's at Mill Pond, and through summer
nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Mill Pond.
If you're looking for a beach close to Mill Pond, we recommend Schoodic Beach; whitewater
paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Union River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Sullivan Falls while you're here at Mill Pond, and if you need a place to stay
Sea Breeze Motel is a delightful choice. Falls Point is rather in close proximity to Mill Pond; Mountain View Campground is a nice local campground.
