At Mill Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's; night lows at Mill Pond during the winter commonly drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool stuff in the vicinity of Mill Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Salmon Brook has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road. If you came for an overnight stay Aroostook River Camping and Recreation is a good place to camp.
