Portland. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Royal River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Rye Pond. A quick visit to Cascade Brook near Mill Brook is a great idea, and
if you need a place to stay Lighthouse Inn at Pine Point is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are interesting spots and Scarboro Marshes near Mill Brook is no exception, and what would winter be without some skiing at Lost Valley.
