Mill Brook is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Rye Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; from Mill Brook you get a good vista of Blue Point Hill. Drift down the rapids of Royal River in a kayak, and Mill Brook is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Bayley's Camping Resort is a magnificent local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chandler Brook, and you can hit the beach if you want, Pine Point Beach is practically right here. Throughout the days of summer at Mill Brook highs are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Inn at Pine Point is a magnificent spot to get some rest; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Back Shore.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Willowdale Golf Club,
and people from Portland-South Portland love to come here. Nonesuch Cove is not far from Mill Brook at all, and the snow is good at Lost Valley. So many entertaining things to do here at Mill Brook, too great to be true. It's a splendid
idea to stop by Cascade Brook, it's near Mill Brook.
The high level of rainfall makes Mill Brook a pretty wet site; during November this area sees the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so
wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and camping at Wild Duck Campground is always a perfect experience.
