    A visit to Midway Pond is always a good idea. Midway Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Midway Pond; Chimney Trail is a nice local trail, and don't forget to take a perfect little spree to Rock Pond Stream. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always  
   go whitewater paddling on Dead River - South Branch.
Oakes Nubble is wonderful and can be seen from Midway Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a fine way to kill some time. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Sandy River is a nice whitewater spot near Midway Pond. There's so much to do here at Midway Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great site for
 
               that. Stay the night at Black Brook Cove Campground, and Piazza Rock is a pleasant place to take a look at while in the neighborhood.
Go for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Saddleback. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Brook Trail, and why not head up to Black Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Through the months of summer here at Midway Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Midway Pond.
