There's some flowing water nearby, Bear Pond Brook is a stream you can go to while here, and the Gulf Hagas Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. Summertime highs at Midday Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's with winter       lows in the-10's overnight here at Midday Pond. Pittsfield Motor Inn is a fine spot to get some rest, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Big Squaw. This lake is so wonderful. Midday Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Balsam woods Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and nearby you come across the Northwest Ridge Road which is a good hiking trail. So many fun things in the neighborhood of Midday Pond, truly incredible.                  There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Midday Pond called the Number Four Mountain Trail It's always fine to check out Slugundy Falls. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Midday Pond. Barren Slide is a good place to visit while in the area. Not far from Midday Pond, you'll locate Sunset Pond which is a pretty lake, and Bodfish Intervale is a stunning place any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous swamp right next door to Midday Pond is Gilman Swamp, and if you come at the right time of year, Big Wilson Stream offers some great whitewater. Wildwood Shores Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake.
