This lake is so wonderful. There's always Hobbs Pond Dam to stop by in close proximity to Merriland River Reservoir, and a tremendous close by hotel is Nautical Mile Resort. In the event that you
don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and Merriland River Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Portland-South Portland. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Merriland River
Reservoir. Beaches are great; and Wells Beach right next door to Merriland River Reservoir is no exception, and camping is available at Gregoire Campgrounds.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Merriland River Reservoir, and during
the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Merriland River Reservoir descend into the 10's. This lake is so
wonderful. While you're here at Merriland River Reservoir, you could also visit wonderful Old Falls Pond; if you need a spot to stay Elmwood Resort Hotel is a good choice.
