Fernalds Neck also while you're here. Hiking along the Mount Megunticook Trail is tremendous fun, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Inn at Camden Place. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Megunticook Lake has it all.
A fine beach in close proximity to Megunticook Lake is Laite Memorial Beach; what would winter be without some skiing at Camden. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps can be such exciting places, visit Mullin Bog while you're here
at Megunticook Lake. Megunticook Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. And that's not all you can do here at Megunticook Lake. Goose River Golf Course
is a golf course next to Megunticook Lake; there are some fine whitewater spots on Ducktrap River. Take a little spree to Marriners Brook if you're here at Megunticook Lake, and you should certainly check out Maiden Cliff while here.
