This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Meadowbrook Pond, you could also stop at picturesque Alerton Lake. Meadowbrook Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Meadowbrook Pond through the summertime months are in       the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Meadowbrook Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Meadowbrook Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wilde Pines Campground is a pleasant spot for that; it's a delightful idea to have a look at Advent Brook. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling                  in the neighborhood of Meadowbrook Pond is B Stream, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Pierce Tote Road. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Meadowbrook Pond has to offer. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Meadowbrook Pond called the Kennedy Tote Road, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meduxnekeag River - South Branch. If you came to camp My Brothers Place is a good place to do that, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bigrock is reasonably near.
