    Go to Meadow Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Falls; if you came for an overnight stay Searsport Shores Ocean Front Campground is a great spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Goose River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Battie Trail. Be careful coming to Meadow Pond, you might not ever want to go  
   back home again. Kedears Hill is clearly visible from Meadow Pond.
The Bluffs is a good place to have a look at while in the region, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Spragues Beach. During your journey to Meadow Pond you'll meet some folks from Rockland for sure; Camden has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Spring Brook Trail is always a perfect adventure, and nothing beats kicking back at
 
               Billys Shore.
Taking a little tour to close by Bounty Cove is a delightful idea, and don't leave Meadow Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Northport Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest; why not camp at Northport Travel Park if you're here at Meadow Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Meadow Pond a rather wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
High temperatures at Meadow Pond through the summer are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Meadow Pond are in the 10's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Meadow Pond. Barley Ledge is a fine location to take a look at close by, and after a long day outdoors Dark Harbor House is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
