This lake is so wonderful. Scottish Inns Houlton is a great site to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of B Stream. At Mars Hill Dam near McPherson Lake there are some exciting things to see, and do pop by Mars Hill Pond, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Boynton Brook, and why       not camp at Wilde Pines Campground since you're here at McPherson Lake. Having a nice time at McPherson Lake is trouble-free. A great nearby hotel is Shiretown Motor Inn, and Bigrock has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. The amount of rainfall that falls at McPherson Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Hiking along the Sweets Trail is splendid fun, and Neil E Michaud                  Campground is a nice local campground. All through the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at McPherson Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 10's; through the dark hours in the winter at McPherson Lake temperatures descend to the-10's.
