Sure, Bran Lake is close by. Good hiking is available along the Island Pond Trail; one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of McLean Lake is McLean Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than McLean Lake, for example Third Lake, and if you came to camp Little Black Check Point is a perfect place to do that. McLean       Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Falls Brook. There's so much to do here at McLean Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pelletier's Campground is a tremendous spot for that. High temperatures at McLean Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For                  the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at McLean Lake are in the-10's. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place!
