There's whitewater on Big Brook River for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you need a place to stay Hunter's Inn is a good choice. Throughout the months of summer at McKeen Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to McKeen Lake.       You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area next to McKeen Lake has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cross Rock Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; Lakeview Campgrounds is a nice campground here. The Rocky Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of McKeen Lake, and McKeen Lake is a fine location to camp, Little Black Check Point is a fine location. McKeen Lake is a                  good location of typical rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
