Maxie Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Maxie Pond, for example Round Pond, and hiking along the Angel Falls Trail is splendid fun. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Maxie       Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summer months at Maxie Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Maxie Pond tend to be in the-10's. This spot, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things.                  Hit the slopes at Saddleback in the vicinity, and not far from Maxie Pond you'll come across Long Pond which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Black Brook, and Maxie Pond is right by the Bemis Trail. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Maxie Pond has it all. After a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Bemis Stream Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the White Mountains. Four Ponds Mountain is gorgeous and can be seen from Maxie Pond; drift down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch in a kayak.
