If you came for an overnight stay Mystic Acres Campground is a good place to camp, and St. Croix Stream is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. Near Matherson Pond you stumble on the Webster Brook Tote Road which is a nice hiking trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squa Pan Stream. After a long day outdoors Crown Park Inn is a good       location to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Bear Mountain Lodge. All through the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Matherson Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
