Go for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail, and a beautiful lake like Goose River Reservoir is a tremendous place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mason Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Moorings Campground is a nice spot for that; it's a tremendous idea to take a look at Goose River. Good hiking is available along the Mount Battie Trail, and at Mason Pond you always meet someone from Rockland. Skiing at

| | Camden is one of those things you just have to do, and do have a look at Upper Mason Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Mason Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is frequently the driest month. At Mason Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter | |

nights at Mason Pond are in the 10's. Golf can be played at Searsport Pines Golf Course; Mason Pond Dam is beautiful. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at New Hermon Mountain, and if you came to camp Moorings Oceanfront
RV Resort is a splendid location to do that. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Going for a hike on the Spring Brook Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Patterson
Point is reasonably close. This lake is so wonderful. Goose River is a tremendous whitewater spot near Mason Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Seascape Motel & Cottages. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near
Mason Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ducktrap River; if you need a place to stay Belfast Harbor Inn is a pleasant choice.
