Lots of people from Bangor come to Martin Ponds, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Chimney Pond Trail. During the days of summer at Martin Ponds temperatures are regularly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Martin Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some brilliant whitewater, and you're possibly
