Marcum Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Through the summer here at Marcum Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows at Marcum Pond during the winter ordinarily sink into the-10's. Going for a hike along the Island Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Fish River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came to camp American Dream Resort is a brilliant place to do that. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fish River; camping at Clover Hill Campground is always a wonderful experience. Crown Park Inn is a good place to get some rest, and the summit of Pinette Hill can be seen from Marcum Pond. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Marcum Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
