If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Marble Pond. You could also stop at Little Mud Pond while you're here at Marble Pond; it's close by, and you can go for a hike on the Matagamon Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Kimball Brook in the neighborhood of Marble Pond is a nice idea,       and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River - East Branch. Good hiking is available along the Spring Brook Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a fine location to camp. A lake close by is Hay Lake, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Seboeis River. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a good location to get some rest. Summertime highs at Marble Pond                  usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Marble Pond are in the-10's.
