Camping at Camp Laurel is always a great experience, and if you're going to from Augusta-Waterville, you won't be the only one. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cobbosseecontee Stream, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Just can't get enough of Maranacook Lake. It's a brilliant idea to       pop by Hoyt Brook, it's in close proximity to Maranacook Lake; Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. Do check out Upper Narrows Pond near Maranacook Lake, it's a delightful lake; if you came to camp Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a brilliant location to do that. The high level of rain makes Maranacook Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a striking lake called Lower Narrows Pond near Maranacook Lake, and Maranacook Lake Upper Dam is a place that is near Maranacook Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year at Maranacook Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Maranacook Lake tend to be in the 0's.
