Maces Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Laite Memorial Beach is in close proximity, and lots of folks from Rockland come here. If you need a spot to stay Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn is a nice choice; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Rockland Golf Club is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. At Maces Pond you can distinguish Bear Hill, and hiking along the Mount Battie

| | Trail is nice fun. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Camden; do take a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail. Get soaked paddling on Ducktrap River, and camping at Camden Hills RV Resort is always a tremendous experience. This spot is great, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Maces Pond. So many cool things to do at Maces Pond, so little time. is a splendid local campground, and dry warm beds await you at The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt. Going for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Chickawaukie Pond Dam is a scenic
spot. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Maces Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Maces Pond night low temperatures all through the winter
are in the 10's. Maces Pond usually gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Oyster River; do take a look at Chickawaukie Pond, it's a delightful lake.
