Lufkin Pond is a nice lake to visit. Jont Stream is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and why not camp at Dummer's Beach since you're here at Lufkin Pond. During the summer highs here at Lufkin Pond get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lufkin Pond temperatures descend to the-10's. Dry warm

On a good day at Lufkin Pond you can take a hike along the Chimney Trail, and Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is a good local campground. While you're here at Lufkin Pond, you could also explore beautiful Stetson Pond. Lufkin Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the
driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Pearl Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is reasonably near. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River - South Branch, and
while you're here you can take a hike along the Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Black Mountain is great; you acquire a fine sight of Rowe Hill from here.

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
