Through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Lucia Pond. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lucia Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid vista       of delightful Benson Mountain is available from Lucia Pond; you'll hit upon a striking lake called Indian Pond. The yearly rain here at Lucia Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is July while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Wildwood Shores Campground since you're here at Lucia Pond, and the snow is wonderful at Big Squaw. Be careful coming to Lucia Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. A pretty lake like Sampson Pond right next door to Lucia Pond is a pleasant spot to explore, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lucia Pond; Auburn Log Hauling Road is a perfect local trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ship Pond Stream, and there's nice hiking along the Northwest Ridge Road.
