    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Lower Togue Pond. Camping at Big Moose Campground is always a magnificent experience, and you can go for a hike on the Cathedral Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream, and this is a popular place for people from Bangor. High temperatures at Lower Togue Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night  
   sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Lower Togue Pond tend to be in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Katahdin Inn. Lakes? Sure, Pockwockamus Pond is around here. Beaver Brook is a charming stream that is worth checking out, and going for a hike on the Dudley Trail is always a nice adventure. Near Lower Togue Pond you discover
 
               the Chimney Pond Trail which is a great hiking trail, and not far from Lower Togue Pond you'll discover Oak Hill Pond which is a delightful lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some nice whitewater. Be careful coming to Lower Togue Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. Lower Togue Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Roaring Brook Campground is a good local campground; the summit of Trout Mountain can be spotted from Lower Togue Pond. Lower Togue Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
