Bowlin Camps Outfitters is a good local campground; going for a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Through the days of summer here at Lower Shin Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's.       For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lower Shin Pond are in the-10's. Sucker Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and here at Lower Shin Pond you can spot Allen Hill. Have a great hiking adventure along the Snowshoe Lake Road, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Seboeis River.
