At Lower Shaw Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lower Shaw Pond overnight low temperatures through       the wintertime are in the-10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnolds Trail; there's whitewater on Spencer Stream for all you adrenaline junkies. But wait, there's more to do near Lower Shaw Pond. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Spencer Lake is one of those nearby, and there's glorious hiking along the Fire Warden Trail.
