We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT. -Great Place!

You can run the rapids of Rapid River in the neighborhood of Lower Richardson Lake, and taking a little tour to nearby Horse Beef Point is a magnificent idea. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the White Mountains. Moose Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Lower Richardson Lake, and camping at South Arm Campground is always a nice experience. | | commonly in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lower Richardson Lake fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sunday River Ski and Golf Resort is a good place to spend a night or two, and Blackcat Brook is right next door to Lower Richardson Lake and is always a delight to have a look at. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Richardson Lake; Old Magalloway Trail is a great local trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sunday River. Lower Richardson Lake in
fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. There are other locations here than Lower Richardson Lake, for example Pond in the River, and the Table Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. An average amount of rainfall
falls at Lower Richardson Lake; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is February. Swift Cambridge River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Lower Richardson Lake, and Lower Richardson Lake is right
by the Old Speck Mountain Trail. A perfect location to camp here at Lower Richardson Lake is Cupsuptic Campground. Lakes? Sure, Richardson Lake is in the neighborhood. That right there is plenty of exciting things already but
it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Summit Resort Sunday River, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Middle Dam in the neighborhood of Lower Richardson Lake. You just
can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Lower Richardson Lake has to offer. Lower Richardson Lake is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
