     Maine has many beautiful lakes and Lower Pond is one of them. A stunning lake like Natanis Pond in the vicinity of Lower Pond is a wonderful spot to explore; Gold Brook is in close proximity to Lower Pond and is always a bliss to have a look at. The amount of rain that falls at Lower Pond is close to the national average; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to  
   explore everything Lower Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cathedral Pines Camping Area, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Bugeye Pond.
Summertime highs at Lower Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's; the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Lower Pond. It's always delightful to go to Sarampus Falls, and if you come at the
 
               right time of year, Dead River - North Branch offers some delightful whitewater. Chain Lakes Dam is worth going to since you're here, and the Arnold Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Black Arrow Lodge is a good place for that; the sight of Sisk Mountain is beautiful. The slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting nobody can resist. While you're here at Lower Pond you can take a hike along the Morrell Trail, and Saddleback is a magnificent local ski area.
What a place this is for outdoors people. If the weather is wonderful here at Lower Pond, you can go for a hike along the Arnold Pond Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cupsuptic River.
