While you're here at Lower Pond you can take a hike along the Arnold Pond Trail; the vista of Sisk Mountain is lovely. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Black Arrow Lodge; a good place for whitewater paddling is Cupsuptic River. Very gorgeous scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Sugarloaf USA. Gold Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and since       you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Bugeye Pond. What a location this is for outdoors people. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Chain Lakes Dam, and of course, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, Chain Lakes is a lake in close proximity. Through the warmest time of the year here at Lower Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's.                  High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lower Pond fall into the-10's. Camping at Cathedral Pines Camping Area is always a great experience, and Sarampus Falls is always fun to check out. If the weather is delightful here at Lower Pond, you can go for a hike along the Arnold Trail, and you can run the rapids of Dead River - North Branch.
