Having a great time at Lower Pond is uncomplicated. A quick visit to Gold Brook right next door to Lower Pond is a perfect idea, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Arnold Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Lower Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the       50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Lower Pond through the winter frequently fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Saddleback; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Arnold Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sarampus Falls is a nice local attraction; on a beautiful day you obtain a great view of Sisk Mountain from Lower Pond. Lower Pond                  gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came to camp Black Arrow Lodge is a good spot to do that. There are other spots here than Lower Pond, for example Chain Lakes, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cupsuptic River. There's so much to do here at Lower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a tremendous place for that, and hiking along the Morrell Trail is good fun.
