Summertime at Lower Patten Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lower       Patten Pond fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Union River; a day at pretty Hales Beach right next door to Lower Patten Pond is a great thing to do. Good hiking is available along the Blue Hill Trail; a golf course close by is White Birches Motel & Golf Course. Why not camp at The Gatherings Family Campground while you're here at Lower Patten Pond, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Days Inn. Lower Patten Pond                  is a good location of common precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Eagle Lake Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Flood Stream is a stream you can check out while you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Patten Pond; Bald Mountain Trail is a good local trail, and Dollard Hill is a peak you can see from Lower Patten Pond. Lower Patten Pond Dam is picturesque and it's near Lower Patten Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
