Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a glorious local campground. Lower Narrows Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Lower Narrows Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun       is down through the winter temperatures at Lower Narrows Pond sink into the 0's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. After a long day outdoors Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Maranacook Lake is one of those close by, and while you're here you must go to West Point. Get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Cobbosseecontee Stream, and Winthrop Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Upper Narrows Pond is close to Lower Narrows Pond, and Camp Laurel is a glorious campground nearby.
