There's so much to do here at Lower First Saint John Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Old Mill Camping Area is a good spot for that, and Little Lane Pond is a good lake close by. Lower First Saint John Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a fine local campground, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Alder Brook Trail. This  
   lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River - South Branch. Lakes? Sure, Upper First Saint John Pond is in close proximity.
Just can't get enough of Lower First Saint John Pond. From a rainfall point of view Lower First Saint John Pond is a rather common place; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month is February. During the warm days of summer here at Lower First Saint John Pond,
 
               high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Lower First Saint John Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
