Lower Deadwater is a nice lake to visit. Lower Deadwater gets a typical amount of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. Summertime at Lower Deadwater arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lower Deadwater plunge into the-10's.

| | If you need a spot to stay Mt Chase Lodge & Country Inn is a good choice, and the Jerry Pond Tote Road is a tremendous hiking trail close by.
If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. Patten Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and get drenched paddling on Seboeis River. A lake nearby is Chamberlain Pond, and you can stay the night at Shin Pond Village Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going
for a hike along the Snowshoe Lake Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Deadwater has to offer, you can camp at Matagamon Wilderness Campground.
