If you came to camp Bear Mountain Lodge is a tremendous site to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn. There is a fine hiking trail close to Lower Deadwater called the Kennedy Tote Road, and swing by East Branch Howe Brook it's a great place to take a look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things next to Lower Deadwater. There are some good whitewater spots       on St. Croix Stream; camping at Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds is always a brilliant experience. Lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Saint Croix Lake near Lower Deadwater, and going for a hike on the Old Dam Tote Road is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Howe Brook Mountain from Lower Deadwater is scenic, and a charming lake like Upper Deadwater is a great spot to take a look at. There's whitewater on Mattawamkeag                  River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers, and nearby you stumble on the Pierce Tote Road which is a delightful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the warm months highs here at Lower Deadwater reach the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lower Deadwater are in the-10's.
