This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience; a lake close by is Upper Deadwater. From a precipitation point of view Lower Deadwater is a rather typical place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lower Deadwater. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Deadwater temperatures drop to the-10's. Here at Lower Deadwater you can catch a sight of Howe Brook Mountain, and why not take a little journey to East Branch Howe Brook if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike                  on the Kennedy Tote Road is always a magnificent adventure, and if you need a place to stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a delightful choice. St. Croix Stream has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road. All the outdoors cool things next to Lower Deadwater will keep you coming back repeatedly.
