If you come at the right time of year, Narraguagus River offers some fine whitewater, and the top of Jimmies Mountain is easily spotted from Lower Allen Pond. And that's not all you can do       here at Lower Allen Pond. After a long day outdoors Sea Breeze Motel is a good location to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Eagle Lake Trail. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Mopang Stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Allen Pond; Lead Mountain Trail is a fine local trail.
