If you came for an overnight stay Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a magnificent place to camp. At Lovejoy Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lovejoy Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is beautiful, you get a delightful                  sight of Shore Hill from Lovejoy Pond, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Sheepscot River. This is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes. Mill Stream is a lake close at hand, and the snow is perfect at Eaton Mountain. Just can't get enough of Lovejoy Pond.
