Looking for something near Lost Pond? Felker Pond is in the vicinity, and the peak of King and Bartlett Mountain can be seen from Lost Pond. Cupsuptic River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Lost Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Arrow Lodge is a brilliant place to camp. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lost Pond. A delightful site for whitewater paddling close to Lost Pond is Parlin Pond Stream; Lost Pond is not the only location

| | close by, Mud Pond is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sally Mountain Trail is magnificent fun; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sugarloaf USA if you're here. King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a pleasant campground nearby, and it's a good idea to go to Baker Stream. The Bigelow Range Trail offers hiking at its best; you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Saddleback. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Lost Pond is right by the Fire Warden Trail. Summer at Lost Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 20's
while the cold winter nights at Lost Pond are in the-10's. Lost Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.

 | 13 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
