What would winter be without some skiing at Sugarloaf USA, and the Bigelow Range Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Lost Pond is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Loon Echo Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby; if you're here you can take a hike along the Fire Warden Trail. From a precipitation point of view Lost Pond is a relatively common place; during July this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.

Stream is so much fun, and Parker Pond is a splendid lake close by. On a great day at Lost Pond you can take a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail, and a wonderful lake like Spencer Lake is a nice place to take a look at. This
lake is so wonderful. So much exciting stuff to do at Lost Pond, so little time. After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Jackman Trading Post.
