Not far from Lost Pond, you'll locate Bean Pond which is a charming lake, and going for a hike along the Arnolds Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lost Pond is close to the national average; through the month of November you get the most snow around here while February is the month with the least amount       of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lost Pond you can distinguish Cates Hill, and unsurprisingly Carrying Place Stream is a scenic stream that is worth visiting. The slopes of Eaton Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrying Place Stream. Just can't get enough of Lost Pond. If you need a location to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a tremendous choice,                  and Happy Horseshoe Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sugarloaf USA, and Pierce Pond Stream has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. During the summertime months highs here at Lost Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Pond.
