there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Freezeout Road. The top of Kennedy Bog is easily seen from Lost Pond, and going for a hike on the Old Pogy Road is always a great adventure. Float down the rapids of Webster Brook in a kayak, and why not camp at South Branch Pond Campground if you're here at Lost Pond.
