Getting to Greenland Brook from Lost Pond is easy, and a splendid site to camp here at Lost Pond is Pushaw Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Hardy Pond Trail, and you can hit the slopes at New Hermon Mountain close at hand. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lost Pond a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Here at Lost Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Bangor; the Shore Road Trail offers hiking at its best. Throughout the days of summer here at Lost Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. such out of the ordinary sites, visit Fitz Bog while you're here at Lost Pond. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping is available at Villa Vaughn Campground, and you'll come across a charming lake called Pickerel Pond.

 | Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing.
