Lost Pond is a pretty wet place typically with a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If you came for an overnight stay Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a magnificent place to camp, and Moose River       - South Branch has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. A delightful swamp close to Lost Pond is Lower Hathan Bog, and the Morrell Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Cupsuptic Campground is a delightful local campground, and Lost Pond is not the only site nearby, Caribou Bog is a nearby lake. Summertime highs at Lost Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs all through                  the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Lost Pond tend to be in the-10's. Halfmile Brook is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and a lake nearby is Otter Pond. On a good day at Lost Pond you can take a hike along the Arnold Trail, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Arnold Pond Trail.
