     Lost Pond is always a pleasure to visit. A wonderful place to camp here at Lost Pond is Homestead Lodge, and float down the rapids of Munsungan Stream in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Katahdin Inn is a pleasant choice, and you can go for a hike on the Mooseleuk Tote Road. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Spectacle Pond is one of those close by.
During the summer months at Lost Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's. When the night
 
   sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lost Pond. Lost Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Millinocket Stream; delightful hiking is available along the Millinocket Lake Tote Road.

               already, but it goes on; Lost Pond has it all. There are delightful spots to explore along the Round Trail; camping at Umcolcus Sporting Camps is always a great experience. The peak of Center Mountain can be observed from Lost Pond, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Center Pond is just a very short distance away.
