A good location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lost Pond is Fish River, and Lost Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a glorious local campground. Going for a hike along the Island Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Fox Brook Trail.
